What does an initiation mean?
A deep process of immersion in one of the medicines that XamAM works with. It is something of a lifetime where the initiate commits to honoring the medicine, the Service it provides and the learning process itself.
How long does an initiation last?

What is required of me during the process?
In addition to the principles of the Shamam School (honor, humility, ethics, kindness, responsibility), an initiation requires time, commitment, financial responsibility and a deep commitment to the medicines.
Can I stop whenever I want? Can I interrupt the initiation process?
All beings are free; however, there is a commitment on both sides, yours and XamAM's. In this way, everything that is agreed within an adulthood process is possible. In this way, everything that is agreed within an adult process is possible. Interruptions of more than a month must be agreed directly with XamAM or the Initiation will have to be restarted.
And if I want to return, how should I do it?
You must start from the beginning unless the downtime is only one month and there has been a dialog with XamAM. Different reasons will be considered separately, always in accordance with ethics and honor.
Will I be ready to start people when I finish?
No, this process is the XamAM School's doctorate. You will need to work for three years under XamAM's six-monthly supervision in order to earn your certificate for initiating people into the medicine you were initiated into.
